Roll up your sleeves and become a part of Yamhill County's volunteer community! Now more than ever local non-profit organizations need your help to deliver valuable services and programs to people in our community.Walk a dog. Build a house. Teach a child to read. Clean up our local wilderness.

Thanks to the Volunteer Connection, there is now an easy way to plug into volunteer needs in Yamhill County.'Volunteer Connection, Yamhill County' is a Facebook page co-sponsored by First Federal and the News Register with the goal of connecting community members directly to local volunteer opportunities. Simply visit the page and 'Like' it, and then recieve up to date information about immediate upcoming needs in our community. If you are interested in one of the volunteer opportunities that has been posted, you have the chance to connect directly with the organization who needs your time. It's a great way to fully engage yourself in community life!

Non-profit organizations interested in posting an upcoming volunteer need simply go to the page and post their need, and it is then reposted by the page admin and sent out to all fans of the page. It's a wonderful way to expand an existing base of support.
