Rocky Wade
I was born, raised and educated right here in McMinnville, and started my financial career in 1974 as a Linfield College junior in First Federal's accounting department. I worked my way up to Controller and was promoted to Vice President in 1992. My duties increased in 1993 when I became responsible for managing each First Federal branch, and in 1997 I was promoted to First Federal's President and CEO. Since that time First Federal's assets have grown from $184 million to $350 million. We have also launched a very successful community giving program which has returned more than $1.5 million to our community. To further our commitment to the community, I have been active with local organizations like Kids on the Block, McMinnville Industrial Promotions, and the McMinnville Downtown Association.
Having spent 37 years with First Federal, I can honestly say that this organization believes that people come first- whether they are our customers or our employees. For that reason I know that First Federal is not only a wonderful place to build a career, it's a great place to build your financial future.
Rosita Seibel
In 1984, while I had small children at home, I started my career in banking as a part time teller with First Federal. I then became a full time employee and identified many opportunities for advancement. I became a new accounts representative and then the Assistant Savings Operations Supervisor. I was soon promoted to Savings Operations Supervisor and then Assistant Branch Manager before advancing to Branch Manager in Newberg.
I consider First Federal to be a wonderful place to develop a financial career. In addition to offering tuition reimbursement, First Federal's management team promotes the highest level of professionalism by offering seminars and classes in business writing, communication skills, customer service and team building. After 27 years, I can't think of a better place to work!
