2008 Customer Ballot Results
Our customers vote—we give!
For the tenth year in a row, First Federal customers
have helped us allocate thousands of donation dollars
through our Customer Ballot Program. They vote, and we
give!
We know it's important to serve our neighbors by
providing exceptional personal banking options and by
investing in nonprofit organizations in our community.
That's why we donated $40,000 through Customer Ballot's
this year, for a ten year program total of $360,225. Now 58
Yamhill County nonprofit organizations are receiving funds
to help strengthen our communities.
Annually, First Federal mails ballots to approximately
8,500 customer households in Yamhill County and invites
those customers to participate in determining the
distribution of part of First Federal's charitable giving
budget by voting for two local nonprofit organizations. In
2008, each vote cast through Customer Ballots was worth
$10.44. Customer directed donations are an important part
of First Federal's ongoing Community Giving Program.
Since 1999, First Federal has donated more than $1.2
million to Yamhill County nonprofits through our various
charitable giving programs.
